Housing focused on supporting someone returning to the community. Lorinthian's House provides nonmedical independent housing within our returning-citizen 62+ track.

A phrase people use to ask whether a landlord or property will rent to someone with a record. Eligibility and screening rules always apply and vary by property and program.

Lorinthian's House Is Nonmedical Independent Housing, Not "Felon Housing."
Lorinthian's House NC provides non-licensed, non-medical independent housing. It is not a halfway house, a treatment facility, or a supervised program. Our housing is for qualified adults who are 100% ambulatory and capable of independent living. On the returning-citizen track, the person must be age 62 or older.
Independent living
A person lives on their own, managing their daily routine without staff assistance.
Housing first focus
A stable, appropriate home is the foundation for reentry, employment, and community connection.
