Veteran housing

Housing That Honors the Service, and Supports the Next Chapter.

We provide stable, non-licensed, non-medical, independent housing for qualified veterans who meet our model, with an appropriate verified income or housing-funding source — alongside connection to workforce resources and community reintegration. Veterans do not need to draw a VA housing payment to be considered.

Who this serves

For Veterans, Their Caseworkers, and Their Community.

Veterans needing housing

Qualified veterans capable of independent living, with an appropriate verified income or funding source, who need a stable, appropriate home to build on.

Veteran case managers

Veteran caseworkers and VA-connected organizations can submit referrals and coordinate with our placement team.

Veteran-serving partners

Nonprofits, faith groups, and landlords who want to help expand veteran housing capacity.

Lorinthian's House NC provides non-licensed, non-medical housing for qualified 100% ambulatory adults capable of independent living who have an appropriate verified income or housing-funding source. We do not claim VA funding, VA affiliation, GPD, SSVF, or HUD-VASH status unless actually awarded or contracted. We are a housing partner committed to supporting veterans through our network.

Referral process

Refer a Veteran

Veteran case managers, veteran-serving nonprofits, VA-connected providers, and families can submit a referral. A two-stage screening determines preliminary fit first, then private placement screening if qualified.

All placements are subject to screening and applicable program criteria. Submission does not guarantee placement.

Refer a Veteran

Stage 1 — a short preliminary-fit check.

Funding

Applicants must demonstrate an appropriate verified income or funding source sufficient for the applicable housing arrangement. No benefit status is assumed from age, disability, or military service.
