Independent living housing

Independent Housing for 100% Ambulatory Adults.

Lorinthian's House NC provides non-licensed, non-medical housing opportunities for qualified 100% ambulatory adults throughout Raleigh, Wake County, and the Triangle — including adults with a disability who can live independently within our housing-only model and have an appropriate verified income or housing-funding source. A disability status does not automatically qualify anyone for any benefit.

Our Housing Model — Clearly Stated.

Lorinthian's House NC provides non-licensed, non-medical housing for qualified 100% ambulatory adults who are capable of independent living and have an appropriate verified income or housing-funding source. Residents must not require personal-care assistance, medication administration, medical monitoring, or 24-hour supervision from Lorinthian's House NC.

Where an approved outside provider already supplies services, those stay with that provider.

Referral process

Referring a 100% Ambulatory Adult

Disability case managers, independent living counselors, vocational rehabilitation professionals, DSS adult-services staff, guardians, family members, and other professionals can submit a preliminary referral.

The short check below determines whether the person fits our current housing model. We collect only what's needed for housing fit — no medical details.

Lorinthian's House NC does not provide licensed medical care, personal care, medication administration, behavioral-health treatment, habilitation, or 24-hour supervision. Placement is subject to the individual's ability to live independently, housing availability, program criteria, property fit, and applicable law.

If this referral may require a different level of housing or support, our team will review it and let you know — respectfully, and without diagnosis.

Housing fit

A disability status does not determine eligibility — independent-living capability does. Housing is limited to qualified 100% ambulatory adults who can live independently within our non-licensed, non-medical model and have an appropriate verified income or housing-funding source.
