Funding categories
Where Payment May Come From.
Income-Based
Regular fixed income such as Social Security, SSI, SSDI, pensions, VA disability compensation, or employment earnings.
Eligibility is determined by the paying agency, not by Lorinthian's House.
Agency / Payer Contract
A funding arrangement where a government body or agency pays a programmatic per-bed rate for qualified individuals under contract.
Requires a documented contract and defined scope. Not assumed.
Voucher / Subsidy
Rental assistance or subsidy programs that attach to an eligible household and may apply toward housing costs.
Applicability depends on the household, property, and program rules.
Private / Family
Private payment by the individual, a family member, a guardian, or another private responsible party.
The arrangement must be affordable and sustainable for the payer.
