Benefits Ready is the framework Lorinthian's House NC uses to understand whether a returning citizen age 62+ has an appropriate verified income or funding source — because age 62 does not automatically qualify anyone for any benefit.
Framework
The Three Levels.
GREEN
Verified / active funding
A documented, active income or funding source sufficient for the arrangement.
YELLOW
Pathway pending
Application, reinstatement, or agency bridge funding pending with a documented pathway.
RED
No verified payer
No verified payer and no documented pathway yet. Placement is not currently assessable on funding.
LH may coordinate benefits-navigation resources. LH does not guarantee benefit eligibility or approval. A "green" status reflects documented funding, not a promise of any benefit.
